Description

This multimedia exhibit tells the story of the Jewish men who attended Providence College from its founding through the era of the Second Vatican Council. Through interviews, student publications, and historical context, learn about the groundwork for positive interfaith relations between Jews and Christians laid at Providence College at a time when anti-Semitism was high at home and abroad.

The interactive map provides information about where Jewish students attending PC came from, the demographics of Providence, and the location of the congregations Jewish students called home. Be sure to utilize the zoom in and zoom out functions and click on map points for more information.
