Description
This paper discusses XML as a subset of the Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and the HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and the benefits of XHTML as a transition from HTML to XML. It discusses the similarities and differences of the various languages and the benefits of XML and XHTML.
