This General Order is a re-published version of General Order Number 112: War Department, Adjutant General's Office, June 10, 1865. Provides regulations for Section 12, Chapter 79 of the Acts of Congress, passed March 3, 1865 for providing trials for those officers who believe to be wrongfully dismissed from service.
By order of the Secretary of War, E.D. Townsend, Assistant Adjutant General and Major General E.R.S. Canby via Major Wickham Hoffman, Assistant Adjutant General.
