Cecil G. Helman was born in 1944 in Cape Town, South Africa, but now resides in London. He previously published in journals and anthologies, including: The Prose Poem: An International Anthology (ed. Michael Benedikt, Dell, 1976), and Imperial Messages: One Hundred Modern Parables (ed. Howard Schwartz, Avon, 1976). Books include: The Body of Frankenstein's Monster: Essays in Myth and Medicine (W.
