Michael Benedikt's books of prose poems are Mole Notes (1971) and Night Cries ( 1976), both issued by Wesleyan University Press. His most recent collection is The Badminton at Great Barrington (U. Of Pittsburgh Press, 1980) He is the editor of The Prose Poem: An International Anthology, and is working on a new collection titled Universe. ["Contributor Note" from original publication, 1999.]
