Providence College will host nearly 50 international scholars of English author Charles Dickens at the 14th Annual Dickens Society Symposium , to be held August 6-9, 2009 on campus in Providence, RI.
This year's speakers will come from colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Germany. They will present talks on Dickens and his works in 10 panels.
The conference panels are open to the College community and public.
