Yannis Ritsos, who died in 1990, was one of the most influential Greek poets of our time. "One Skit, Then Another" and "Evening Walk" are from Ariosto Recounts Moments from his Sleep and Dreams, first published in 1982. ["Contributor Note" from original publication, 1993.]
