James Grabill's Through the Green Fire: Personal Essays, Prose Poems, and Poems was published by Holy Cow! Press in 1995. His 1994 Lynx House Press book, Poem Rising Out of the Earth and Standing Up in Someone, received the Oregon Book Award for Poetry in 1995. He lives in Portland, Oregon.
